BThe Business School · Founder's Hour
Allow-list request for your school network
Founder's Hour is a browser-based Business lesson. There is nothing to install. For students to reach it on the school network, your IT team needs to allow the two domains below through the web filter or firewall. Please forward this page to them.
Domains to allow (HTTPS, port 443)
| Domain | Why |
| lesson.thebusiness.school | The lesson page students open and play. |
| build.thebusiness.school | The marking service the lesson calls in the background (AI feedback + saving progress to the teacher dashboard). |
| *.netlify.app | Hosting and CDN for the two domains above. Optional, but allow it if the domains alone are still blocked. |
The short version for IT: allow lesson.thebusiness.school and build.thebusiness.school over HTTPS. Standard web traffic, outbound only.
What IT needs to know
- No install, no plugin, no inbound access. It runs entirely in a standard browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) over ordinary HTTPS.
- No student accounts. Students join with a class code the teacher gives them and a first name plus last initial. No email, no password.
- Data: written answers are marked by an AI service and stored to show the teacher. Data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). The company is UK ICO registered.
- Category: education / e-learning. If your filter uses categories, this is a classroom teaching tool.
